Catherine "Cathy" Cruz Gonzaga was born on January 16, 1988 in Taytay, Rizal, Philippines, a Filipina actress, author, comedian and television host. known as Alex Gonzaga after her name changed in 2008.  Her name, Alex, came from the role of a character she played in ABS-CBN sitcom's Let's Go and Gokada Go!.
