Kimberly Jan "Kim" Dickens was born on June 18, 1965 in Huntsville, Alabama. U.S is an American actress.  She later had lead roles in the movies Truth or Consequences, N.M. (1997), Zero Effect, and Mercury Rising (both 1998).

Kim Dickens the daughter of Pam (Clark) Howell and Justin Dickens. Kim Dickens graduated from that city's Lee High School and attended Vanderbilt University in Nashville, Tennessee, where she earned a Bachelor of Arts in communication. Kim Dickens moved to New York City, where she worked as a waitress, to continue her studies at the Lee Strasberg Theatre and Film Institute and graduated from the American Academy of Dramatic Arts.
