Lee Soon-kyu was born on May 15, 1989 in Orange County, California, United States a South Korean singer and actress. Best know as Sunny. Sunny a member of the South Korean girl group Girls' Generation.

Sunny with her family move to Kuwait while she was still an infant and moved to South Korea around the time of the Gulf War. Sunny shares a birthday with her two older sisters (Lee Eun-kyu and Lee Jin-kyu). Sunny father was in the college band Hwaljooro with Bae Chul-soo.
