Danielle Kirsten Muriel Castaño was born on August 21, 1989 in Glendale, California, U.S. is a Filipino-American beauty queen. Danielle Castaño represented the Philippines in the Miss World 2008 pageant. She was the crowd favorite in the Binibining Pilipinas 2008 pageant, winning five awards from the major sponsors and placing as 1st runner-up.
Danielle Castaño grew up in Glendale, California, but later moved to Marikina City when she was 8 years old. She studied secondary at Herbert Hoover High School in California, United States where she was also part of the track and field and cross country varsity team.
