Liev Schreiber was born to Heather (née Milgram) and Tell Carroll Schreiber. He attended Friends Seminary and Hampshire College in Amherst, Massachusetts where he began his acting training at the University of Massachusetts Amherst, via the Five Colleges consortium. He graduated with a master's degree from the Yale School of Drama in 1992 and also He also attended the Royal Academy of Dramatic Art in London.
Liev Schreiber relationship with British-Australian actress Naomi Watts and the couple's first son, Alexander Pete, was born on 2007(nickname Sasha) second son, Samuel Kai was born on April 2010.
